Description
The Merx hook is a strong and smart self-locking mooring hook.
The Merx hook makes mooring easy and safe for buoy or jetty. The latch is locked when the rope is in tension, which ensures mooring. When the rope is slack and the hook is folded, the latch can be opened and Merx Hook released.
It’s made of strong marine stainless steel SS1316 that can hold for 2500 kg (5500 lbs) of traction. You can also use a padlock to secure the hook even more.
Fits Scrubbis HookGrip (86109) and Telescopic Handle (86151).
The mooring with the hook becomes SAFE and SIMPLE.
Tips and advice
You can have several Merx hooks with ropes attached in the boat, so you can easily moor when you add to a dock. Then it becomes easy and quick to “load” several Merx hooks into HookGrip and hook one after the other.
